MY REVIEW:
Ummm .. where do I begin? I listened to the audiobook (Thanks @librofm) and babbbbbyyyyy the narrator set this party off right! His performance was superb! I think this is one reason why the book was so enjoyable!
So this book was like The Office meets The Wolf of Wall Street with a lot of “Oh hell no”, “No he didn’t “, “WTF”, “I know like hell” moments.
This book attempted to highlight a lot of different issues including workplace racism, self confidence, gaining and growing, etc. I think the author got his points across rather fluidly and with cohesion. It is important for people to remember that this is satirical.
Satire – the use of humor, irony, exaggeration, or ridicule to expose and criticize people’s stupidity or vices, particularly in the context of contemporary politics and other topical issues.
Anyway, if you made it this far. READ it. Better yet, listen to it.
Update: I stand corrected. There is debate about whether or not the book is actually satirical. Either way it was entertaining and brings awareness to multiple issues.
